Who may use Skreenie

Skreenie is designed for families. The parent app and family account must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

The Kids app is intended for use by children under parental supervision. Children do not create their own accounts — they select a profile created by a parent. You are responsible for ensuring that use of Skreenie complies with applicable laws in your country.

Your account

To use the parent app, you may sign in with a supported authentication provider (such as Google). You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information and keeping it up to date.
• Maintaining the security of your sign-in credentials and devices.
• All activity that occurs under your family account, including actions taken by co-parents you invite.
• Promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Parent responsibilities

As the account holder, you control what your children can watch. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving the YouTube channels, playlists, and videos you add to each child's library. Skreenie provides tools to curate content, but we do not guarantee that every video is appropriate for your child — you make the final call.

• You must supervise your child's use of the Kids app as you deem appropriate.
• You must not allow children to use the parent app or access account settings.
• You are responsible for complying with YouTube's terms and any applicable platform rules for content you link to.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Skreenie only for lawful, personal, non-commercial family purposes. You must not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our apps.
• Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others, or to distribute harmful or illegal content.
• Circumvent security features, access restrictions, or parental controls.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service without our written permission.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.

Content and third-party services

Skreenie helps you organize and play third-party video content (such as YouTube videos) that you choose. We do not host that video content. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

AI-generated questions, games, conversation starters, and suggestions are provided as educational companions to watching — they are not professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). You use them at your own discretion.

Intellectual property

Skreenie, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by 9K Analytics ApS or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the service as intended.

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as child profile names and links you add). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide and improve the service.

Fees and availability

Skreenie is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future; if we do, we will provide notice and obtain any required consent before charging you.

We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that content recommendations will always be accurate or age-appropriate, or that third-party video sources will remain available.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 9K Analytics ApS and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty euros (€50), except where applicable law does not allow such limitations.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also benefit from mandatory protections of the laws of your country of residence.

Disputes should first be raised with us at contact@skreenie.app. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, courts in Denmark shall have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws grant you the right to bring proceedings in your home country.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
